Most of the time a cable is run to them but sometimes when this is not possible due to distance we use modems or specialised modules that can use the internet as a communication medium. No till is ever too far away then, it can be anywhere in the world if it can connect to the internet. this is ideal for multi branch or franchises.

Hardware set-up.

It's not just a matter of plug and play. Consideration is given to protecting the system from external influences and power line surges and spikes which can damage unprotected hardware and corrupt crucial sales data and account information.

The less hardware the better.

We ensure that you have the minimum amount of hardware possible so that your system appears unobtrusive, for example in a bar situation only one printer is needed and is usually placed somewhere out of harms way. All Quests can then print a receipt if it is required, by a simple push of a button, there is no need to have a printer at each till.

Training.

Another area that receives our attention is to ensure that you are trained to use the system confidently and efficiently so that you get the most out of it for many years to come.
